When should I buy airline tickets for a summer weekend in Miami beach?

    when they get cheapiest. keep an eye on the airlines and buy in advance.

    Most of the time, earlier is better than later. Flying into Miami/Fort Lauderdale is always cheaper than trying it the other way around. Keep your eye out for deals. Best day to check is on Tuesday nights, has something to do with airlines setting prices or something or the other.

    there are two times when it is best to buy tickets:

    1. NOW. the earlier the better because you have more time to find good deals. tuesdays are good days to look because they have the best deals. for departure days, tuesdays, wed, and thursdays are the best days to depart. departing on fridays makes it higher. departing on mondays are usually higher too because of business traveling.

    2. THE LAST MINUTE. there are great last minute deals if you wait til a week to book it. the problem with this is that you can’t gaurantee a great price and that it will even be available for those particular days you’re planning on going.
