What is the weather like in Miami in September?
October 11th, 2009 | by Michael |Heather asked:
We are planning on vacationing in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale/Key West area the first week in September. Can anyone tell me what the weather is like? Our plans would include a lot of laying on the beach. Is there a big chance for hurricanes at that time of year?

September is the same (heatwise) in
South Florida as June, July and August. Hot and humid. Late September you might get some relief from the heat though not much. The Keys will be cooler than Miami since you get more ocean breeze with the Gulf to the north and Caribbean to the south. September is also the peak month of hurricane season though I would not worry about hurricanes since your risk is very low of getting caught by one on a one week vacation. Also you always have plenty of warning. Go and have fun!

possibility of hurricane and rain since it is the season for it but no one knows for sure, some years it is great others not so great just depends on mother nature and no one can guess what she does
