I’m planning on moving to Miami in about a year for college and getting an apartment with some roommates. That being said, I don’t want to find myself in a bad neighborhood. Could anyone please tell me what areas of Miami I should stay away from?

Most of the police stations are safe once inside. Otherwise it is pretty hairy in Dade County. Don’t get me wrong there are a lot of people who don’t get killed. It is hit and miss. Good luck.

what college are you going to? If you’re going to UM then def. stay in the coral gables/south miami area and you’ll be fine. Don’t go any more south than 152nd st and US1 and don’t go to Little Havana or Little Haiti….or downtown Miami llol
