That’s hard to answer. If you are planning to rent an apt. you will need 1st-last & Security. The amount will depend on where you rent. An average, decent apt can run $800 to $1000 a month. Of course, there are cheaper places, but maybe not so great.
You should start looking for a job a few months before you move–you can do most applications on line, but plan to have enough money to support yourself for a couple of months, at least.
Look at jobs and rents on SunSentinel.com or even on Craigslist to give you an idea of what to expect. Just do your homework before you make such a move, Miami isn’t paradise.

A lot.
It depends where you want to live in.
For example,
Sweet Water, Kendall, Hialeah, Miami Beach etc.
A efficiency cost $500-$800
An apartment cost $1000+
You would need a car to transport yourself from place to place so think about car insurance and gas.
