The demonstration is to pressure governments to change their policy regarding the current food crisis.

    Check with City Hall. Most likely you will need a permit, and it will have to be approved first.

    What sort of demonstration is it - cake making, flower arranging. I wouldn’t have thought so.

    Probably. They’re usually not difficult to get. You’d just go down to city hall and apply. They might charge a nominal fee.
