What are good art colleges in miami or new york?

im a senior in high school, and i really want to move to new york or miami. i love music, writing, films, and acting. im not quite sure what i want to do but i think if i could find a good college in either cities that that could be a good starting point.

Some of the best Art Schools in the country are in NYC. You have Parsons, Cooper Union, SVA, FIT, and Pratt Institute. It will depend on what specifically you want to go to school for since each school as different strengths in different areas of art and design (for example, for Fashion, you should check out FIT, for Architecture or Communication Design, you should check out Pratt, etc.)
I live in NYC, and can tell you its an AMAZING place to go to college. Its a completely different experience than going to a college anywhere else. Just be prepared for a major culture shock if your not used to gigantic cities.

New York University and Julliard School are both excellent. Julliard is recognized as one of the best schools for acting.
