How can Miami be one of the fattest cities in America, is there where most people go and show off their body?

I just read on one of Yahoo’s featured articlea about Miami being amoung the fattest cities in America. I’ve never been to Miami, I been to Orlando many times, but not Miami. But I always see on TV how Miami is full of hot hard bodies. I’ve heard it’s almost by law to work out, and look good in a speedo. I’ve heard that the city where men wear the most spedos, and are in the best shape.

How can Miami be one of the fattest cities?

    I was floored by that too. I always thought beach cities would be skinny. You always see pictures of Miami with sun drenched beautiful models on the beach. Guess it’s not so accurate.
    I was shocked that ABQ was a fit city too, I have lived there and maybe it’s because with all the crime there you have to run fast.
    Who knows.

    i lived in Miami and i did see some fat people but your right their are a lot of good looking people.i think all the fat People are hiding.

    i’ve been to SOuth Beach a few times and trust me its not what it looks like on tv or im movies… don’t get me wrong there are many beautiful people, but there are just as many unattractive people as well. Many people move there who are good looking.. its not like they are just there ya know? its the beach tho so many people woriout a lot to keep good bodies.. if u lived year roound in a bikini wouldn’t yu hit the gym to! lol
